On
Sunday October 12th, 2002, we sat down with WWC's own Sean
Jericho for a one one interview.
Q) So what E-Fed are you
currently in?
A) I'm currently in three E-fed's. My mine e-fed is one
called Empire Wrestling, then only a month ago I started at
the BTWF (Big Time Wrestling Federation) and very lately I
started at the WWC (World Wrestling Corporation)
Q) How do you rate this E-Fed?
A) I would say their all great fed's. Their all run by
people who have the time and the experience to run a good
fed. I couldn't list much problems with any of them.
Q) What is your wrestlers name?
A) I've had loads of different Wrestlers... 4 to be exact.
The first is my main one which is Sean Jericho then there's
Rigor Mortis that I've started using lately in the WWC. The
rest I haven't used in some time.
Q) Give us some background on your superstar?
A) I started in my first federation with Sean Jericho as
'The Silent Warrior' Sean Jericho. But he didn't get far in
the UEWF so I decided to have him beaten by 'the rebels' and
carried on with my secondary person, Mike Shamrock. The UEWF
closed down before I could enter him back into it. We were
all invited to the EWC. Where Sean Jericho started with Mike
Shamrock.
Mike Shamrock joined up with another superstar to create the
NBK (Natural Born Killers) They dominated the Tag Teams.
Sean Jericho had a slow by losing his first two matches but
then he got off onto a winning streak as he changed his
attitude to things. After six matches undefeated he cut out
the
'Silent Warrior' Part. Sean then won the hardcore title and
had to defend it in a title for title match in which
he lost. But that didn't stop him and he carried on to try
and earn a shot at the TV title. He did but was once more
cheated by other superstars. Later in the year Sean Jericho
started calling himself 'The Best In the Business' and so he
started acting like it.
Before the EWC changed Sean Jericho had won the Television
title and on EWC's final night he pinned 'Bas Ass' Matt Coey
to become a double champion leaving with both the TV title
and the IC title. Sean then started in the XWA where his
first match was at a pay per view for the Extreme (Hardcore)
Title. Sean won his match and at the same event speared
Hardcore Trench of the top of a triple Cage to retire him.
Jericho then won the match after but was ambushed and lost the
title he was soon rewarded a shot at the Elite
championship. For his third match Sean Jericho was put up
against Houston for Houston's elite championship and was
looking to win but the federation closed down. But the
president was just closing it down so he could start a
bigger and better one with another President of an e-fed.
They both opened Empire. Sean Jericho straight away started
as a main eventer winning all of his matches and at the
First pay per view became the first ever empire world
champion. he lost it within a week due to a screw job by
Hardcore Trench who came back to the wrestling world to
challenge Jericho to a triple Cage retirement match. Sean
Jericho won again retiring Hardcore Trench for the second
time in his career. At the next pay per view Sean Jericho
was looking to win back his World title but before he could the
federation closed down
for revamping. But within two months it was back and Jericho
still had the number one contendership. After defending the
contendership against Knightmare, he went into a match
against the world champion and defeated him. Jericho became
the first ever Two-Time Empire world champion and he still
is now to this day.
Rigor Mortis is a guy I've just started with so i haven't
much history on
this guy.
Q) How long have you been in E-Feds?
A) Just about a full year now. But I had a phase where I was
in six E-fed's at once which was kind of fun. A lot of them
have closed down and when they do
I start in others. I've cut it down to three now and I'm
running strong.
Q) What names have you used?
A) Other names I have used have been 'The Man' Mike Shamrock
'Master Of
Submissions' and Johhny Capulet.
Q) What do you look for in an E-Fed?
A) Long results which are full of moves and events. I also
like a fed with
alot of other people in, gives you a good idea of where you
fit in and a lot
of competition. It also has to look good and be easily
accessible to every
link or page. Clever story lines and characters are also
good for a fed.
Q) Are you currently in a storyline? If so describe?
A) I don't have any storyline yet for the WWC. But in the
BTWF I'm starting
a fight with Jay Sin] arrives, he's the first person to feel
the total wrath
of Sean Jericho, he's where it all starts. In Empire I'm
currently running
in a feud with Houston and I'm against a faction called
Rated X who want my
World Championship.
Q) Do you have any suggestions for E-Fed Magazine?
A) Get a message board from Pro Boards. they're good.
Q) Is there anything you want to say to the fans?
A) A little bit of wisdom that I learnt in the EWC and never
forgot...
"Quitters Never Leave On Top". I never and I won
two titles before EWC closed
down. Keep that in mind.
